Dear Nadia aka Ms Chanel has finally arrived. She got her name for the simple reason that she's the fashion brand manager for Chanel in Dubai - Pret a porter and Haute Couture. What a wonderful delight to finally see my beautiful desert rose on this side of the world. She's one of the best things I got out of my one year stay in Dubai.

For you guys who recently got to know me; I was writing a Swedish blog during my time in Dubai and other parts of the world. I guess I have been blogging about my life and adventures for nearly five years now and only the last one in English.

Throw me a Gin Tonic and let's get this weekend started. Two hard core, intensive weeks are laid in front of my feet and I'm so excited and thrilled for their appearance that I almost frighten myself with this wonderful, strong energy that is slowly taking over my body. See you on the other side.

1 YR OF MEMORIES IN B/W.

It was pretty much one year ago that I moved to Barcelona from Dubai, where I also spent a year of my life or so. The transfer back to Europe must have been the best choice I've ever made in my entire life. I exchanged the soulless, artificial lifestyle back to European culture and soul. What a drastic difference - to the better - it made for my life, heart and soul.

Started the summer of 2009 in Barcelona with a trip to Ibiza. Good friends. Good vibes.

Followed by Sonar parties and friends in town.

Was in London for shopping. Expensive shopping was a major part of my everyday happiness those days. Diamonds and pearls. Golden watches, first class flights to luxurious resorts and 2000$ shoes. I guess it wasn't very easy (nor cheap) to satisfy me in this period of my life (at least not if you were a man).

Here's my beautiful, adorable Fanny on a visit in Barcelona.

I went to Bali for some weeks..

...fell in love with the nature..

...met some elephants.

I went to my beloved Berlin a couple of times.

And spent some beautiful nights on an astonishing roof terrace in Paris.

I also went home to Sweden to see my old friends.

And the yearly secret island party outside of Gothenburg.

My dear friend Alex visited me in Barcelona a couple of times.

So did my wonderful Stina.

I was posing in my home. Oh my God how I loved that flat.

My dad was here, we went to the Rammstein concert on his birthday.

I was searching for a new flat.

When I suddenly met the man of my dreams. (I mean seriously. Is he really for real, I ask myself at times. How can a man be so fucking beautiful, genuine, normal, intelligent, caring, honest, straight forward, ambitious, down to earth, spiritual, strong, insane, inspiring and blessed with such sex appeal - all at the same time? Jackpot.)

We went to Milan to celebrate life and that we finally found each other.

Came back and had a crazy, wonderful new year eve's celebration with friends.

Don't ask me where I got that trucker hat from? That night was 100% insane. One of the best.

Lots of dinners, birthday parties, events.

Dear Amanda visited us for my birthday.

Moving house, changing life. But not to a new apartment..

..but a boat!!

Would say that's probably one of the best things I ever done. Back to the basics. Steady on the ground. Away from the materialistic world I both loved and hated. Obviously, I do miss my huge walk in closet at times and all the convenience you might have when living spaciously, but the boat life gives me so much more harmony and peace that it wins in the long run. Well thank God for that as we've planned to stay on it for at least two long years. I now look forward to fill the upcoming year with even more traveling and crazy experiences and you're all very welcome to follow the journey!

COUNTING DOWN

Now only seven days left till my beautiful Stina will be in town. How I've waited for that glamorous Hollywood hair and her spiritual energies to arrive. I count on nothing less than a perfectly intensive week to come!

MY LOVE FOR BARCELONA

As a base, I can't think of a better place to live than Barcelona. Of course Spanish people are lazier than the most other you meet in your life, and of course the social structure is less organized than in Sweden or any other modern, civilized society, but that doesn't make me love this country less in the total. The first fact, that Barcelona is close by almost any other interesting big city in Europe and by that easy to leave for a weekend or two when you feel the need of, is priceless.

What else? The wonderful Mediterranean climate, the sea, the closeness to all of the Mediterranean islands by boat, hundreds of beaches just around the corner, the beautiful nature, the colorful and mixed culture, the brilliant possibility to mix your life between high life and the bohemian in the most natural way, the beautiful architecture with great history, the inspiring blend of people, the perfect collection of Internationally renowned restaurants and the fact that there are always new, wonderful things and places to discover - makes Barcelona a perfect place to live.

In fact, this is the place where I feel more free, fulfilled and inspired than anywhere else I've been before. If you haven't visited yet, I urge you to try it at least once. You wont be disappointed, instead you'll find out that this city can be heavily addictive.

Wonderful summer nights are spent with good friends in various gardens. Food, friends, wine, love and hot summer nights are just what life is about, right?
