Unfortunately I literally danced my shoes into pieces when we went out later that night for an all-nighter. Walked home at 5:30 am, barefooted, with the shoes in my hand. But I really can't complain, it was a wicked night. Besides, those shoes had seen their better days anyway after three years on my feet...
