Portishead has been one of my absolute favorite groups for as long as I remember. Their subtle, dark jazz/soul/trip hop sound and melodramatic lyrics are still as modern and suggestive as the first time I got introduced to them for almost fifteen years ago. It doesn't matter how many times I listen to the same tracks, nevertheless the sound always seem to grab a tight grip on my heart. This is what I'm chillin' with tonight.

Saw an absolutely fantastic flamenco show last night with the story based on the classic opera Carmen. Sara Baras is one of the world's most famous flamenco dancers, and it was magical to see her passionate show live. The show was directed, choreographed, and stage designed by Sara, who also plays the role of Carmen. The tragic love story of Carmen was perfectly captured by flamenco's effortless ability for expression. Go see this fantastically well produced show if you ever have the change.

FLAWLESS PERFECTION

I have a friend. A very beautiful, intelligent, intellectual and inspiring friend. This friend of mine is one of the most well dressed people I ever met. Of course the majority of us would look good all dressed up in tailored Bottega Veneta, Armani Collezioni and Hermès. But this man puts it all together with such a passion and a flawless perfection in terms of color palettes, mixes with fabrics and accessories that it totally takes your breath away.

Sometimes I can't help myself but staring at him. Studying him from top to toe, for several minutes before I understand it is not a piece of art, but actually my sartorial friend I'm having in front of me. Last time I met him he surprised me with a beautiful gift straight from Paris, which was this adorable silk cardigan/blouse from Hermès. And it is truly a subtle, delicate piece of art. Just exactly the way I see my dear friend sometimes.

Enlightening conversations about business and politics on the terrace with the very same view. Walks in the sunset over bridges and rivers. Shopping french labels and listening to Radio Nova. Green tea and pistachio macaroons on rue Royale. Chardonnay Piscines next to the Louvre, and poor hurt feet after walking too many hours in super high heels..
